“Choice of Weapons” Artist Panel with Daniel Tisdale

Internationally renowned artist Daniel Tisdale moderates a special panel, “An Artistic Tribute to Gordon Parks,” which is part of the exhibition, “A Choice of Weapons: The New Renaissance Artists,” which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the influential African American photographer Gordon Parks. The ongoing exhibition features a variety of works by upcoming and seasoned artists such as paintings, film, and photographs.

Mr. Tisdale is the founder of the Harlem World Magazine, which highlights the latest news and culture of Harlem.

    I had the great opportunity of meeting Gordan Parks. He left us with the legacy "A photo is worth a thousand words" He lived in the Twin Cities for awhile.One of his first job was with the MSR Newspaper in Minneapolis. I  will forever "treasure" the photo we took together at the History Center in St. Paul MN.on one of his visits. Thanks,  Rosa Bogar
